About this project

Securing the lease on a previously closed National Trust Shop to re-open Spring 2017. It was a conscious decision to move away from the traditional fare sold at National Trust shops throughout the country. Instead this shop is now focusing on locally produced arts, crafts, preserves etc. Currently 25 local artisans are now supplying the outlet. The ethos is not only to support the local community but also to advertise the local area and the vast range of talent that exists. This has increased the footfall to this National Trust Explore Site. This is an ongoing project.
